PLANT CARE INFO
Light
The Begonia Maculata should be placed in a bright area with indirect sunlight, but it can also tolerate lower light situations. Be sure to allow it to soak up the light periodically for it to grow. Never place it in direct sunlight to avoid burning the leaves.
Soil
Begonia Maculata likes to be in moist soil, so you should find a potting mix that retains water quite well without becoming overly soggy. Also ensure that the media is light and has good aeration.
Watering
Begonia Maculata is a plant that loves to be in moist soil. This means you should water it regularly. You can find out if you need to water your Begonia Maculata by touching the soil with your fingers and determine if it's still moist of if it's dry. If it's dry it's time to water your Polkadot plant. It doesn't like to be dry for too long, so make sure to check regularly.
Fertilizers
The Begonia Maculata is a flowering plant, which means it requires fertilizer every once in a while to have enough energy to be able to keep growing. A good rule of thumb is to add liquid fertilizer to the water every other time you water the plant.
